Wat ga je doen?

Als Software Developer ga je werken binnen het Smart Home DevOps team en heb je de vrijheid en autonomie om met je collega’s het ontwerp, de ontwikkeling en het onderhoud van onze applicaties richting te geven.

Als het gaat om de ontwikkeling van onze applicaties, ben je betrokken bij de volgende gebieden:

1. Back-end: Ontwikkelen en beheren van integraties met verschillende thuisbatterijen en slimme apparaten in de energiesystemen van huishoudens

2. Algoritme: Verbeter onze algoritmes die thuisbatterijen en andere slimme apparaten van de klant aansturen

3. Back-office: Ontwikkel systemen om interne processen te optimaliseren

4. Klantinterfaces: Verbeter onze gebruikersapp waarin klanten hun energiebesparingen en batterijopbrengsten kunnen zien

Daarbij ga je ook:

·      Nauw samenwerken met andere ervaren ontwikkelaars en krijg je veel vrijheid om initiatief te nemen bij het ontwikkelen van onze producten

·      Deel uitmaken van een volwassen, snelgroeiende start-up die zich richt op innovaties om de energietransitie te versnellen

·      Werken aan slimme thuisoplossingen: Verdiep je in de integratie en aansturing van thuisbatterijen en slimme apparaten in energiesystemen, een essentieel en spannend groeigebied

·      Bijdragen aan ons product dat veel eindgebruikers helpt om energie te besparen door slimme inzet van thuisbatterijen en andere grootverbruikers in het huishouden. De resultaten van jouw werk zijn direct zichtbaar voor de klant

What will you do?

As a Software Developer, you’ll work within our Smart Home DevOps team, where you get the freedom and autonomy to shape the design, development, and maintenance of our applications together with your colleagues.

When it comes to building our applications, you’ll be involved in the following areas:

1. Back end: Develop and manage integrations with various home batteries and smart devices within household energy systems

2. Algorithms: Improve the algorithms that control customer home batteries and other smart devices

3. Back office: Build internal systems that help streamline and optimize our processes

4. Customer interfaces: Enhance our customer app that shows users their energy savings and battery performance

In addition, you will:

·      Collaborate closely with experienced developers, with plenty of freedom to take initiative and shape the products you work on

·      Be part of a mature, fast-growing startup focused on innovations that accelerate the energy transition

·      Work on smart home solutions: dive into the integration and control of home batteries and smart devices, an essential and rapidly growing field

·      Contribute to a product that helps thousands of end users save energy through intelligent control of home batteries and other major household devices. The impact of your work is visible immediately

·      Develop applications that process large volumes of data quickly and efficiently

Wat breng je mee?

·      Ervaring in het ontwikkelen van (cloud) webapplicaties, liefst ook mobiele applicaties

·      Minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring met backend development in C#

·      Ervaring met lowcode development (OutSystems is een pré) of de bereidheid om deze techniek te leren

·      Kennis van HTML/CSS/JavaScript

·      Ervaring in het ontwikkelen van robuuste, testbare software

·      Kennis van technisch ontwerp en architectuur

·      Interesse in slimme thuisbatterijen en andere apparaten en hun rol in duurzame energieoplossingen

·      Sterke probleemoplossende- en analytische vaardigheden

·      Een gemotiveerd persoon die het prettig vindt om verantwoordelijkheid te nemen en instaat is om zowel zelfstandig als in een team te werken

What do you bring?

·      Experience developing (cloud) web applications, preferably also mobile applications

·      At least 5 years of experience with backend development in C#

·      Experience with low-code development (OutSystems is a plus) or the willingness to learn this technology

·      Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
