What will you do?
As Head of Finance, you are responsible for the entire financial operation:

Finance & Reporting

• Lead month-end closings and management reporting

• Prepare the annual budget and multi-year plans, including scenario models

• Keep long-term cash flow forecasting sharp and forward-looking

• Connect numbers with business developments and advise the management team with impactful insights

Control, Compliance & Risk

• Ensure an error-free annual financial statement (RJ) and smooth audits

• Act as the primary contact for banks, auditors, and regulators such as the ACM

• Ensure accurate external reporting (ACM, GvO, CO₂, ETS)

• Safeguard tax obligations (VAT, corporate tax) and strengthen the internal control framework

• Identify financial and operational risks and enhance internal controls

Leadership

• Lead a compact, ambitious team of 3 FTE

• Drive rhythm, ownership, and quality—jump in where needed

• Be visible, approachable, and decisive: a leader who also gets things done

What do you bring?

• RA qualification or equivalent background in accounting/auditing

• At least 7 years of relevant experience, including several years in a final responsible role

• Experience in a fast-growing organization or scale-up

• Strong affinity with cash flow management and forecasting

• You are accurate, analytical, and pragmatic at the same time

• Results-oriented, but not afraid to roll up your sleeves

• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken

• No 9-to-5 mentality: you want to excel at the very best company in the energy transition
